smallprint is Nicola Woods’s graduate collection and Beautiful Soul’s AW2009 debut capsule range.
The collection incorporates vintage Japanese kimonos (dating back to the 1940's) and satin and jersey made from sustainable bamboo.
Although the silhouettes featured within smallprint can be reproduced, the fabric contained in each Japanese kimono is limited and this allows exclusivity to the wearer.
Inspiration for smallprint was taken from the hidden secrets behind the Japanese culture; the ‘smallprint’ in the contract.
